Wreaths Across America 2021

To all our valued vendors, customers, patriots and friends,

Please help us again this year to honor our past veterans by having a wreath placed on their grave site this holiday season. The Wreaths Across America program has been in operation since 1992 however it is not well known by many. Through this program two million wreaths will be distributed to 2,700 participating cemeteries. This will be the 7th year of Matrix working with the Wreaths Across America program providing transportation, fund raising and, wreath laying on December 18th. This year Matrix will be sending three semi-trucks to Columbia Falls, ME to load and distribute wreaths.

Two million wreaths funded primarily by private donations seems like a very large number however it is still not enough to honor all of our veterans that are resting in our national cemeteries. Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI is our home VA cemetery and it is the resting place for over 50,000 veterans, nearly 3,000 are added every year. This year we estimate there will be enough funding to place wreaths on about one-third of the head stones at GLNC, our goal every year is to bring as many wreaths as possible.

Every veteran that served our country deserves recognition and to be honored with a wreath during the holiday season. Any donations you can make to help support this effort would be greatly appreciated. Donations made at the following link will go directly to wreaths being laid at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. The ceremony and wreath laying will take place in Holly on Saturday December 18th in coordination with the wreath laying in Arlington National Cemetery and all across the country. All are welcome to participate and volunteer to lay wreaths. https://wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/150460
